GENERAL DIRECTIONS

FIELD DIRECTIONS
 

West Deptford Municipal Building
For MapQuest or other internet direction services, use Crown Point Road & Grove St., 08086 or click here.  Note - don't type in address of Municipal Building - the directions will be incorrect on MapQuest and Yahoo.

From Rte 295 Northbound -Take Exit 21, go left at the bottom of the exit, and make a left at the first light on to Crown Point Rd  (Wawa on corner).  Go through one light and Municipal Building is about half mile down on the right at the light at the intersection of Crown Point Road and Grove Ave.

From Rte 295 Southbound - Take Exit 21, go left at the bottom of the exit onto Crown Point Rd.  Municipal Building is about a quarter mile down on the right at the light at the intersection of Crown Point Road and Grove Ave.

From Rt. 55 - Take Exit 56B (Woodbury/Westville)  This will put you onto Rt. 47 North (Delsea Drive).  Follow 47 for approx. 2.5 miles.  Turn left onto Cooper St (There will be a Walgreens on the corner to your left).  Follow Cooper street through Woodbury, across Rt. 45 and continue into West Deptford (Cooper St. will change to Delaware Ave).  When you cross under 295 there will be a light at Crown Pt. Rd (there will be a Wawa on the far left corner).  Turn left onto Crown Pt. Rd.  Go through one light and Municipal Building is about half mile down on the right at the light at the intersection of Crown Point Road and Grove Ave.

From Rt. 42N -  Exit at Rt 41 - Deptford, Runnemede, Woodbury exit.  Go to light at top of ramp and make a right.  Pass KMart on your left and make a left at the next light on to Clements Bridge Rd.  Go 1 1/2  miles to the end and make a right onto Cooper St.  On Cooper, go 5 lights (1st-Delsea Dr, Rt 47, 2nd-Kelly, 3rd-Evergreen, 4th-Broad St, Rt 45, 5th-Crown Pt. Rd) Turn left onto Crown Pt. Rd. Go through one light and Municipal Building is about half mile down on the right at the light at the intersection of Crown Point Road and Grove Ave.

West Deptford Park

From Rte 295 Northbound - Take Exit 20, at the traffic light, make a right. Travel about 1/4 mile and you’ll see a sign for West Deptford Park on your right, turn right onto Metropolitan Ave. and proceed into the park. The park is behind the Mid Atlantic Industrial Park.

From Rte 295 Southbound - Take Exit 20, go to the light and turn left. Travel about 1/4 mile and you’ll see a sign for West Deptford Park on your right, turn right onto Metropolitan Ave. and proceed into the park. The park is behind the Mid Atlantic Industrial Park.

From Rt. 55 - Take Exit 56B (Woodbury/Westville)  This will put you onto Rt. 47 North (Delsea Drive).  Follow 47 for approx. 2.5 miles.  Turn left onto Cooper St (There will be a Walgreens on the corner to your left).  Follow Cooper street through Woodbury, across Rt. 45 and continue into West Deptford (Cooper St. will change to Delaware Ave).  When you cross under 295 there will be a light at Crown Pt. The park is behind the Mid Atlantic Industrial Park.

From Rt. 42N -  Exit at Rt 41 - Deptford, Runnemede, Woodbury exit. Go to light at top of ramp and make a right. At next light make a left (McDonald’s is on the corner) on to Clement's Bridge Road.  Take past the Deptford Mall on your left and go about 2 miles to the end and make a right onto Cooper St.  On Cooper, go 5 lights (1st-Delsea Dr, Rt 47, 2nd-Kelly, 3rd-Evergreen, 4th-Broad St, Rt 45).  At 5th light turn left onto Crown Pt. Rd (there will be a Wawa on the far left corner). Turn left at the next light to get on 295 South.    Take the next exit, Exit 20, and turn left at the light at the top of the exit ramp. Travel about 1/4 mile and you’ll see a sign for West Deptford Park on your right, turn right onto Metropolitan Ave. and proceed into the park. The park is behind the Mid Atlantic Industrial Park.

RiverWinds Fields
For MapQuest or other internet direction services, use Grove Ave. & Delaware St., 08086 or click here.  (This will map the entrance to the RiverWinds complex)

From Rte 295 Northbound -Take Exit 21, go left at the bottom of the exit, proceed down Delaware Ave straight into the RiverWinds complex.  Proceed 1.1 miles after crossing Grove Rd.  Fields will be on the left of the Community Center.

From Rte 295 Southbound - Take Exit 21.  Bear right off exit ramp.  Proceed to intersection and take left onto Delaware Ave at light (Wawa on left).  Proceed straight down Delaware into the RiverWinds complex.  Proceed straight once in RiverWinds (after crossing Grove Rd) for 1.1 miles, and the fields will be on the left of the Community Center.

West Deptford High School

From Rte 295 Northbound - Take Exit 22 (Exits 21 and 22 have a combined access road) go straight onto Crown Point Road, the High School is just past the first light on the right.

From Rte 295 Southbound - Take Exit 22, Make a left at the light at the bottom of the hill, go under 295 at the next light make a left onto Crown Point Road, the High School is on the right.

From Rt. 42N - Exit at Rt 41 - Deptford, Runnemede, Woodbury exit.  Go to light at top of ramp and make a right.  Pass KMart on your left and make a left at the next light on to Clements Bridge Rd.  Pass the mall on your left and make a right on Almonesson Rd.  (Payless Shoes and AMC Theatre on right.) Go to the first light and make a left on to Caulfield Ave.  Go around a sharp curve and make the first right on to Turkey Hill Rd.  Go through light at  Route 47, bear left at the curve and continue into Woodbury.  Road will become Red Bank Ave.  Go to third light (1st is Evergreen Ave, 2nd is Rt 45 - Underwood Hospital, 3rd is Crown Point) and make a right on to Crown Point Rd.  School is immediately on your right.

Oakview School Field

Note - Oakview can also be accessed from the high school by the foot path next to the football stadium.

From Rte 295 Northbound - Take Exit 22 (Exits 21 and 22 have a combined access road) go straight onto Crown Point Road.  At the first light make a right onto Red Bank Ave.  Follow Red Bank Ave past the Red Bank Ave. Field, around the bend, to the first left turn. Make a left onto Lynn Ave and follow to the end of the road where you will make a left onto DuBois Ave and proceed directly to the school parking lot.

From Rte 295 Southbound - Take Exit 22, Make a left at the light at the bottom of the hill onto Red Bank Ave, go under 295, past the Red Bank Ave. Field, around the bend, to the first left turn. Make a left onto Lynn Ave and follow to the end of the road where you will make a left onto DuBois Ave and proceed directly into the school parking lot.

Red Bank Ave. Field

From Rte 295 Northbound - Take Exit 22 (Exits 21 and 22 have a combined access road) go straight onto Crown Point Road.  At the first light make a right onto Red Bank Ave.  Follow Red Bank Ave to Red Bank Ave. Field on the left. 

From Rte 295 Southbound - Take Exit 22, Make a left at the light at the bottom of the hill onto Red Bank Ave, go under 295, through the light and the Red Bank Ave. Field is on the left.  Pass field and make first left on Victory Lane.  Parking lot is on the right.

Union Fields

From Rte 295 Northbound -Take Exit 21, go left at the bottom of the exit, continue down Delaware Ave to second light, Grove Rd. Turn left onto Grove Rd. and follow Grove Rd to the Union Fields baseball complex. Turn right into any one of the parking lots. Fields are at the back of the complex.

From Rte 295 Southbound - Take Exit 21, go right at the bottom of the exit onto Crown Point Rd and then left at the light onto Delaware Ave., continue down Delaware Ave to Grove Rd. Turn left onto Grove Rd. and follow Grove Rd to the Union Fields baseball complex. Turn right into any one of the parking lots. Fields are at the back of the complex.

 Westville Fields

From Rte 295 North, take Exit 23 (Route 130 North, Westville/Gloucester).  Follow signs for Rte 130.  Make 1^st right hand turn onto Chestnut Street (Diner on corner).  Fields are on right hand side approximately ¼ mile.

From Rte 295 South, take Exit 24B. At bottom of ramp, bear right onto Old Broadway.  Go to 1^st traffic light and turn left onto Olive Street.  Go to 1^st traffic light and turn left onto Route 45/Broad Street.  Make 1^st right onto Chestnut Street.  Fields will be on your left.

 From Rt. 42N - Exit at Rt 41 - Deptford, Runnemede, Woodbury exit.  Go to light at top of ramp and make a right.  Pass KMart on your left and make a left at the next light on to Clements Bridge Rd.  Pass the mall on your left and make a right on Almonesson Rd.  (Payless Shoes and AMC Theatre on right.) Take Almonesson all the way in to Westville.  Just after passing Westville ball fields make a left on to Olive Street.  Go through 2 lights (Rt 47 and Broadway) and make a left on to Rt 45.  Make the first right on to Chestnut St.  Fields are on the left.
